I thought I would let everyone know that www.baseballvintage.com is now running an auction. I never know when they run their auctions and just happen to click on them to check today. Nothing I need but a nice selection of cards. I in no way have any ties to them, but with 2 days left and no bids on anything that I could see I thought I would pass it along. Sorry if I spoiled anything for anyone.

I remember now who I was talking about. I have purchased from him a few times in the past and yes I now remember I also got some e-mails about past auctions. Not sure why he didn't this time.

Now that i look at it is say "Sleeper Auction" - maybe that is why he didn't send out e-mails. Strange.

We have had a few threads about James in the past. Good guy but has issues. My only dealing I remember was when he took about a month to ship a card from an ebay auction I won. Numerous others had the same issues. He never ripped anyone off, that I'm aware of, but had more excuses than Carter has liver pills.....

edited to say that hopefully the personal issues which plagued James are gone....and I wish him a good auction

I just received an email about the auction, I would guess more of you will receive one shortly.

I've bought something from just about every one of his auctions without so much as a hiccup. In my book James runs a very good ship....granted I've heard a lot of stories about delayed shipping. My money must be better than others!

I've had some recent dealings with him and found him to be a prince of a fella.
I received a mighty nice 206 Hindu from him for a great price.

best,

barry
