Default Question: Bob Gibson Vintage or New

Hello:
I picked up a Bob Gibson autograph and wanted to ask whether this might be a vintage era or newer autograph. His signature has not changed that much throughout the years.. Thanks for any help.
Phil

I'm going to say mid 70's, he started condensing his G in the 80's, regressing to his earlier style.

Jeff,
Did Gibby give you any crap when he signed this photo?
He can be prickly at a signing if anything gets his ire...

Scott,

I sent it to a show thru a guy I know on sportscollector.net so I don't know if he had any reaction at all.

I can tell you that I asked Gibby to sign a card for me when he was the Pitching Coach for the Braves in the early 80's and just got the cold "Go to Hell" stare.

Jeff

I set up at a show years ago where Gibson signed, also there were a whole slew of who's who of Negro League players. As they walked, in the entire room stopped, stood and applauded and really gave them their entire attention. Gibson never even looked up. I guess the jack@## didn't realize if it weren't for them he might not be setting there signing autographs or involved in MLB in any way.

Go figure.
