A couple of odd questions for you T205 Gold Border experts

Hi Guys, While researching the T205 Gold Border set I saw that it has minor league players in it. One team that I was interested in was the Newark team. Was this team from Newark, New Jersey? What was their team name and what field did they they on. Did they have any connections to a major league team like most of the minor league teams of today? I'd also be interested in any of the other minor league info if anyone knows any. Thanks for looking, Neil

Neil, there are some real minor league history experts on the board. I am not one of them. I don't know why they have not responded to your information request, just preoccupied or away from the board right now, I guess. Don't give up. You will eventually get someone's attention. I do have a 205 or two that I could sell or trade.

The Newark team pictured in the t205 set was the Newark Indians of the Eastern Leauge. The minor leauges back then were not affiliated officially with any one team like they are today. Not sure the stadium name.
