Default 1952 Topps 332 Bartirome

Am working on a 52 Topps set and have noticed this card seems to be particularly hard to come by in any condition. Even more so than most 52 highs. Anyone have any background knowledge about this particular card.

Been discussed at length on the forum. Im sure people will send you links. There was a hoarder guy and at least he is still perceived to be hoarding but who knows. He is an interesting guy and has been in the news. He was banned by net54 as well and he is in the banned net54 hall of fame.

This thread should give you all the info you need.

This was going on before I joined the site back in Jan of 2016 so I only know as much as is written here.
http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=211710

I also collect 52 Topps cards. 148 were given to me by my Father about 30+ yrs ago and I have been picking away at the set since I joined the site. (FlickR link below)
Do you have any dupes? I have a few but the condition of them is not stellar by any stretch.

Seems to me if the guy were smart he wouldn’t let everyone know how many he had.

LOL, that's not fair Ted, you didn't give Jake time enough to edit his post.

I haven't noticed any significant differences/downward spirals since I joined the site. If anything, they have gone up since I joined?

Give it time..or i guess i will be wrong and the baritrome will be the next rookie ruth and we all missed out....

better yet you can always prove me wrong and buy the card now at auction given all auction results are reliable..

if you arent the one buying the cards than you are not practicing what you preach..... you can get a psa 7 one for $1400 i guess...thats a great investment sorry my bad to say otherwise...

different people buying the card so not being hoarded..so its a great deal!

Yes thats a steal! Since a PSA 4 sold for 1150 six week ago.

I didnt say now they are going down..i said in the future they will. thats what 'will fall in value' means.......its not like i made the post a year ago..heck it was a few days ago.....

when psa 6s go for 2500 next year, ill edit the post to say how right you are and i was wrong...of course you should be buying them up now

You guys will all have the last laugh when the prices keep climbing......so what do i know..

Myron, it's best to send that person a direct message or post it for sale on the Buy/Sell/Trade board.
