Default Does this PSA 8 Henderson rookie look like a PSA 8?

I recently picked this up on Ebay. On the auction scan, and even in the PSA official scan, the mark above the "CK" in his name isn't very prominent, but still somewhat visible. But in real life, however, it's very prominent.

Should I make a case with PSA here? How can this be an 8? Or was this actually properly graded? And has anyone ever taken up a case with PSA and what happens if they agree with the assessment of overgrading?

Thanks!

Even without the stain, no way are those corners PSA 8.

No disrespect to you or your card but that looks like 5.5 or a 6 to me.

Send it to a reputable grading company like SGC.

It's a 4 at best.

Here is my Henderson SGC 5 for comparison. I don't think that is an 8, sorry.

Same card, based on the factory print spots. My guess, different scan settings.

I've sent of a request to PSA to have this re-evaluated. I'm guessing this is really an 8 (MK) or 6. That would be a $65 card versus $265. I'm curious to see how their guarantee works.

UPDATE: PSA has agreed to review and I will be following their prescribed steps to ship the card to them. I'll update once there's resolution.

UPDATE: PSA has reviewed the card and confirmed that it was not worthy of an 8. It has been regraded as a PSA 6. I opted for vouchers to make up the difference in value.

I would make them pay me out cash. That’s what their guarantee covers, and they will do it.

They offered, but I have some items I'd like to submit.

7 (ST)? 8 (ST)? Is 8-ST even a thing?

Here he is. Note the spot just above 1B-OF. Always felt this was a suspect grade, but I guess I don't really care that much. It's 74 Topps, which is a nothing year and I guess I'll just accept that I bought the slab rather than the card on this one ha ha.
