Default 1969 O-Pee-Chee Baseball variation

Has anyone else noticed any variations in the 1969 OPC Baseball set? I couldn't find any information listing any variations. I only collect Orioles cards, but I noticed on the back of the Orioles rookies #66 card that "Ptd in Canada" was farther left on one than the other. I have no idea if one is rarer than the other. Were any cards double printed on sheets? That might explain it. None of my other 1969 Orioles duplicates have different backs, but I don't have many to compare.

I have a complete 1969 OPC set, with several doubles. I went to look at all 11 of the rookie cards within my set, and they all have the last "A" in Canada even with the line underneath the stats.

So I would assume that the card with the copyright line shifted to the right might be the variation.

Hope this helps!

My copy and the two copies on ebay all have the copyright line ending past the end of the line or shifted to the right.....maybe this card was a DP and there are an equal number of each.

I just checked my set too, and it is consistent with above. I do not have a single one that is to the right of the underline; all are aligned.

I also wonder about the logo weirdness. My Clemente has the O-PEE-CHEE logo around the card number, whereas my other cards just have the regular number in a white circle. I assume all Clementes are the same so no big deal, but interesting that they're different from other cards.

In the regular 1969 Topps set most players had the Topps logo around the number except those players with 15+ stat lines on back that required more space and on those players they went with the simple number in circle (like on the rookie cards) in order to save space. If you look at players like Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Mickey Mantle, etc they will have the small number in circle, With Clemente they were just able to keep the normal configuration with his stats. In the OPeeChee version they would need to change the Topps logo to OPeeChee, so they did.

I don’t see that Orioles Rookies card on this sheet twice (I see it upper right area of the sheet)
