Default Interesting Discovery

So a couple of guys prompted me to look through my press photos today (namely unveme) as he mentioned that Mcgraw had photos of Ross Youngs and Christy Mathewson hanging up in his office... I remembered that I had a photo of Mcgraw and Hornsby so I started digging..

I cant make out a photo of Matty or Youngs, but there is a photo over Rajah that is titled the following "OVER ONE MILLION WORDS IN 8 DAYS THE CHRISTY WALSH SYNDICATE" It's signed by a few players and upon close inspection you can make out: Ty Cobb, John Mcgraw, Walter Johnson, and Christy Walsh...

for ha ha's I did a google search under the title and found the following link:

http://bid.robertedwardauctions.com/...x?itemid=10583

The signatures looks pretty darned close if not spot on to me... could this REA item have been the one that hung in Mr. McGraw's room???

If anyone knows who owns this piece please pm me... I'd like to get this press photo to them...

Great find Dave, but not the same one. Look at the position of the signature over the word "Days" in the REA example, and then notice that yours is not lined up the same way. But still very cool.

Default sis

ahh... yes, I see that the sisler is in a different spot...

Still, if anyone knows the owner, I would be happy to forward this photo to you (to give to them) for free...

I think it would make a good companion piece...

Happy Collecting!
-Dave
