My Recent PSA Submission (Scans)
Overall, pleased with the results and service, a few cards done for resale purposes, but most to keep. Struck out with 71s as I was going for high grade 8.5 or higher
57 Williams. Bought this raw, overpaid, did not see scratch marks on surface when I bought it, just wanted a 5 and I got it. Still like the card: Bought a raw set for $450 and this Brett card made it worth my investment, also got many nice cards to upgrade my set: Nothing too special about the Rice but I liked the centering and was happy with a 7.5, bought it raw probably in the 20-ish range. Picked this up at a LCS a couple years ago for under $5, now a $175-ish card. Very pleased with the result. Not a big fan of modern cards but living in Pittsburgh I have to have a Crosby and Malkin RC, and have a PSA 10 Young Guns Crosby, was nice to add a Malkin PSA 10 too even though I was not expecting this grade. Last one I'll show is a '75 Morgan that also came with that set and I thought the card was as perfect as you can get, sold it to a collector yesterday. Felt good that my instincts were right and indeed it graded very high. Last edited by mintacular; 08-18-2014 at 11:12 PM. |

That Ted Williams is AMAZING. If you're ever selling that one, holla at your boy. Great eye all around!

Nice group of graded cards. That Williams has outstanding eye-appeal for a 5. It beats a lot of higher graded cards. Thanks for sharing.

Pat, is that the same Larussa I was trying to get you to sell to me so long ago?? I thought it was pretty high end for being raw...I didn't realize it was Mint! Congrats!!!

Yeah
Yeah, Shawn glad I didn't sell it to you, just sold it for $170 dlvd. Do you remember what I offered to sell it to you for? Thank you all for the Williams comments, there are 3 scratches on it that I didn't see when I bought it. Feel good though that others see the eye appeal that I saw.

I don't think we ever actually established a price because if I remember you were not sure if you were going to sell it. I just wanted it!

Great cards
I'm really diggin' that Williams - great centering and '57 Topps is such a classic set. I can handle almost any blemish on my cards as long as the centering is nice.
Congrats! |
