Default Ginormous Chickering Boxing Cabinet Card

Just won this and although I knew it was oversized was surprised at how big it was when actually in hand. I took a picture of a normal card next to it. A couple of questions -

Anyone ever seen a similar size picture from Chickering? Advertising display in store maybe?

I haven't been able to find much about the boxer. Jack Harlem is written on the card.

Appreciate the help. Thanks

Neat piece. Name does not ring a bell. Any chance we could get a better look at the name? Any possible ID marks on the back?

I think that's an "imperial" cabinet

It's extremely large, even for an Imperial. Maybe Cycleback can chime in here.

Probably custom made for a pretty penny for the day, or an advertising display as the OP mentioned.

Is it possible that is Jack Havlin, from the Allen Ginter N29? I can't zoom on the signature to see if that is possibly what it says. But it kind of looks like a older version of the boxer.

It's possible. He was based out of Boston and so was Chickering Photos.

Can't seem to find another image of him outside of the A&G card.

Wish Bill Schutte hung around these parts. He'd probably identify him in a second.

I can ask Bill, but looks to me like Jack Havlin.

Thanks all for the great responses. I am adding a closer shot of the name at the bottom. It's written again on the bottom border; both look like Jack Harlin, pretty close to Havlin.

There are no identifications on the back - it's all blank.

Yeah, I'd say it's Havlin. From what I can tell they have the same type of ear lobes, profile is very similar and both poses he is holding his left hand out in the exact same manner.
