I’m looking for baseball photos produced by John “Jack” Spear. He was out of Des Moines, Iowa and shot all of the minor league teams. They are typically 3x5 black and white head shots.

I’m looking for a photo of Fred McGriff with the 1981 or 1982 Bradenton Yankees of the Gulf Coast League. I’ve been looking for over five years and have tried every avenue without any luck.

Vaguely remember that name, passed away few years ago. Did he sell those prints to the public?

First name to come to mind is Norman Paulson as he lived in St. Pete - but talked with his daughter and she said his entire archive was gone after he passed away and whoever got the storage unit. I bought several boxes of negatives, but nothing from the 80's - wonder where most of it is hiding!
