Default 1990's Football cards. Such a shame there is no market.

I started a football card collection in the 90's thinking that one day they may have a marketable value 20 or so years later. To my surprise and honestly ignorance, as well this collection has been over sold. The men who are now in the Hall of Fame, coaching, retired and even passed away seemed to be lost in the crazy world of collectors. This truly is my opinion only about this era of players with names like Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, Andre Rison, Jon Elway, Mike Singeltary, Reggie White, Junior Seau, Jerry Rice and others too many to name. These are record setters for their teams as well as NFL Leaders in some stats. My name is Ben Gipson, once again this is my opinion about the unbelievable non-market for the men of the grid iron whom made the NFL exciting every week.Let us not forget the quarterbacks in this time made the" 2 MINUTE DRIVE" NOT JUST A DRILL , BUT A CONSTANT FOR THE NFL. Sorry if I offend anyone because this is definitely not meant for that in any way. Please let me know how you feel on this time period of cards being without value. Thanks to all who took the time to read this post.

Overproduction, plain and simple.

This has absolutely nothing to do with football cards or the players you've mentioned. Cards were massively overproduced and overhyped in the 1990s and are all virtually worthless. Goes for baseball and other sports as well.

Sorry this happened to you, though.

Default You R Correct

Yes I agree totally overproduction was the problem with most sports cards not just baseball. I guess being an fan of sports since the 70's, it just seems a tragedy. I honestly believe that the 80's-90's produced some of the great player of all time. I do thank you for the explanation so like it or not it's the truth.
