I'm a little late getting into this discussion, but I have a copy of this book which I bought new back in '95. Amazon has a used copy for under a dollar, and a new copy under $6 -- its a good survey of the history of FB cards; I recommend it.

Fred -

Can you send me a link? I tried checking Amazon and couldn't find it on there.

Thanks, Ray

I couldn't find any links for discounts, so I bought the book directly from the author at full price. You mean I could have gotten it for $1. Actually, you laugh, but I'm a very low end & budget concious collector... Oh well...

Ray: go to Amazon and search on this number: 0870697374

It will bring up a copy of the Bonner book (published in '95 so the card values are out of date).

Or just search on Bonner football cards

I just realized the book I have is titled "Collecting Football Cards"; the book at issue in this thread is called "Collecting Vintage Football Cards" -- I do not have a copy of the "Vintage" book; I only have a copy of the "Collecting FB Cards" book.

I apologize for any confusion I may have caused.

I co-wrote the book. The book is a collection of articles we've written over the past 12 years.
Mike wrote another book prior to this which is just scratches the surface. I think we make
$2 a book...Its not going to make us rich. I think 200 have been downloaded so far.
