Default T206 overprint question

Posted By: Bryan Long

I think that this may have been discussed before but I couldn't seem to find it anywhere. The t206 overprint cards, are they more scare? I don't really see them bringing in anymore money than a regular issue, but I don't see nearly as many of them either. Is this because most people do not look for them or is it because they are more common than I think. I have a couple, a matty being one so I figured that I would ask.

Default T206 overprint question

Posted By: Dave

I always thought there was a premium for these, but Trae doesn't use one for his estimator at http://www.mlbvintage.com/t206/.

The T206 museum suggests a multiplier of 1.4 for commons with the fac 649 overprint, and 1.3 for the commons with the fac 42 overprint in the 460 series. Stars have no increase for either overprint.
