So can anyone enlighten me on why the Wagner E95 has spiked in the past month?

SGC 20 for $3700
PSA 1 for $3383

? what gives?

In my opinion, neither are legitimate sales.

On the PSA 1 that sold for $3,383, it looks like the winning bidder got jacked up $2,000 by a NARU'd guy with a total of 8 feedback.

p***p( 248) US $1,326.89 Aug-29-07 18:56:56 PDT

On the SGC 30, a guy with zero feedback won. He was jacked up $2,000 by a guy that has 68% of his activity with the same seller over the last 30 days.

I am the seller of the SGC 30 copy mentioned above. The winner of this card was not a shill, and claims he will be paying for the card. His 68% bidding activity was strictly on this card alone. I did not see that the bidder had zero feedback or the bids would have been cancelled. Some people are really quick to state that everything item that sells above average is a shill bid, but there are still a lot of low feedback (and sometimes high feedback) bidders that win items that they do not pay for, and sometimes they never intended to pay. It is a shame because the items usually suffer when they have to be relisted because of these bidders that do not understand Ebay, or think it is a game. And for the record, I feel this is about a $2000 card in this grade.

Bill, good luck, hopefully the sale goes through without a hitch. I know its a real pain in the butt to re-list a card when a winner reneges.

I just sold a small card to a guy with 0 feedback, crossed my fingers, but he came through, and he now has a positive feedback of 1. Every one of us started at 0, no way around that.

IMO, All the E95s are powerful, surreal images. Well above most other tobacco's and caramel's.

Bill, Although you're in the right here, you've got to understand the skeptical tone of the mbrs. eBays' vague bidder system is so flawed... Glad to hear you hooked a legit, profitable sale.

Bill,

All Appologies. I was a little quick to judge that one.

I was a little surprised that the PSA 1 and the SGC 30 were within a few hundred dollars of each other.

You are right, the last I had checked the SGC 30 was in the ballpark of $2000.

Good luck with the completion of the sale.

Dave

Bob,

Do you see E94 Wagners price jump in all grades, all colors or just high grades and specific color?

Thanks,
Albert
