If you do not believe me, look at the official Net54 poll. Two thirds of the respondents do not care at all about backs.

There are only backs with a player's stats, or narritive, or both; and backs with no player descriptive information.

Get over it.

Oh yes, certainly CWYWC, but be aware of the snickers. There are those who wanted to lock you all in the EPDG room when the chance was presented a couple of weeks back, but Leon talked them out of it.

Personally, some of my best friends like backs. And if a back liker moved into my neighborhood, Id say hello to him.

I no longer have my T206 Wagner...

I sold it for $1,800 to two nice black gentlemen from Cincinnati.

My gift to Lee is that I am going in for surgery today to have a particle of brain remove form my skull. Doctors said it's dangerous for me to have any brain at all.

I love pinatas. You get to beat the crap of something and get rewarded with candy.

Actually there are a lot of folks here with incredible senses of humor. It's great I ythink to mix in the fun stuff with the serious.

Many a somewhat dark day for me has be brightened up by reading some of these "gems. Keep it up, and thanks.

Are you playing the race card?

Reminds me of an incident at my first job. We had one black worker, a receptionist, and she was always teasing everyone with the race card--it was always a joke, though, and we all got it. At the company picnic we were throwing around a football and after I did not throw it to her she said "You must hate me because I'm black". My secretary popped in with "No, he pretty much hates everyone." Which was true, of course.

Yes, It is actually my birthday, Happy Birthday, Al. Sept. 1 saved me 2 years of illegal drinking, the day after my 19th birthday the drinking age went up to 21. That is the only great benefit I have found to having my birthday on Sept. 1.

Hey Peter, If I would have known I was in for some Hotdish on a stick I would have made plans. To the rest of you we are not joking they have hotdish on a stick at our state fair.

For the record,I prefer my backs medium sized, not to big not too small.

Lee

Hal, Do I need to use our Cincinnati friends as brokers to get my birthday present? I am glad someone understood my original post. I sure hope your card doesn't say "From the Honus Wagner Estate".

I am noe 42 yrs. and 1 day, 364 days to my birthday.

Lee

Sheesh Warshawlaw had a secretary on his first job. All I had on my first job was a broom.

Edited to add:
Then a few years ago I also got a pan. Now its much easier!
