Default Walt Alston Single Signed ONL Feeney Ball. Opinions Please

Picked up this ball recently and would like to get some opinions from the experts on authenticity before selling it. They seem to sell for quite a bit which is the reason I want to make sure it is real first. Ball looks quite used so I have no idea if it was from a game or what. If legit what would be an approx retail price? Thanks for you time to look. Mike

I am not an expert but I know his signature was forged a lot. You might want to go to the SCP auction website and look at their last auction. They had Walter Alston's estate, which had many signed items.

Thanks. I didn't have much luck when I looked. I though at least a couple of the experts would provide some opinions.

The opinions you get here are FREE; they don't cost you a penny.

Be patient.

The signature looks pretty good to me and the guy lived in my hometown so I've seen a lot of his signatures over the years. The w looks good and he almost always connected the t to the a. The only part ithat is questionable to me is the n at the end as I think he would often loop it upwards a bit. That being said the ball looks good to me. As far as value I'd say $125 for a clean ball but I have no clue on a game ball like yours. Could be more or less depending on the buyer.
