Interesting piece. I've never seen the PM1 frame used for anything but baseball.

My O'Doul is a 1930 W554. It's from an 18 card set that's loaded with HOFers. The cards usually measure 5" x 7", & the issuer of these cards is unknown. They do share the same images as the 1929 Kashin Publications R316's, & 1929 W553 ornate border strip cards. Yours looks like a W554 with the bottom cut off.

I just received this 1911 game action postcard (recently won on eBay).

not a groundbreaking item (especially with regard to $ value)...

but it has amazing color in person - and looks very cool.

Was really happy about the Clement as I got him for under $30 on ebay. I've decided I can't have enough T206 Jordan's either. Just a beautiful card.

Okay, I know....but it's based on a vintage image Nothing like a custom hand painted card to add a little spice to the ole collection.

I'm beginning to like the Goudeys. Got a '34 Gehrig (PSA 2) on the way back. I accused this brand new seller of selling a fake, it looked 99% good to me, but it luminesced too much under UV. He was adamant it was real, so I sub'd it in to prove him wrong. Man, did I eat crow. Apologized profusely and left him a positive, but I don't expect he will recip. Will post it tomorrow, I hope.

Got what I presume to be the other half of a Giants photo album that I picked up off ebay a few months back....Different sellers though. Weird. Just won it today.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

one of the photos from the group I won earlier -also Mel Ott - the photos are on the same album pages with the same handwriting.

Lotsa nice cards, kids!
Joe D. - you've got some terrific postcards going (tho' your Giants pc will be hard to top)
Bill K. & Trae - those Jordans are beauties. Something about that Dodger blue (and I'm a Giants fan from Polo Ground days)
Brett - seller needs a manicure
Steve F. - that Gehrig is one nice 2 !

Apologies for lousy photos . . .

Thanks, Mr. O, for the Pfeister!

Thanks, Mastro. Love that 20% BP !

Raymond finishes off my NYG T205 subset. He was hard to come by.

I am starting to think that T207s are like the crack cocaine of vintage card collecting- a relatively cheap and available high.

Some off-topic and non-vintage Aloha for my friends up in The Great White North: Timbits Horton and Newsy Lalonde (55-56 Parkies). Ya gotta love it.

Edited to say that I don't mess around with drugs (tho' I do mess around with T207s).
Edited again to get that freakin' apostrophe out of the thread title.

If can, can; if no can, no can.
