Rob, first off - fantastic stub!

It looks like your stub is for the second game played at the Polo Grounds. The series opened with Game 1 at the Polo Grounds, but then shifted to Boston for Games 2 and 3 at Fenway, then back to NY for Game 4 at the Polo Grounds.

So, your ticket stub, for the second game at the Polo Grounds, would be for Game 4 of the 1912 World Series, I believe, a 3-1 win by the Sox behind Smoky Joe Wood.

Doesn't that seem right? Here's the link to the 1912 series and locations:

I imagine you'll now want to give me the stub since it's only for Game 4 and not Game 2, right??

You're exactly right, Scott. Thanks for this post. Bad job of researching by me. I will correct the description.

Serves me right for relying too much on this and not doing my own homework:

Well then, I assume Baseball Reference is wrong; if PSA and Legendary say it was a Game 2 stub, then it must be a Game 2 stub!

Seriously, I'll stop there, since this shouldn't get derailed at all and it's an awesome ticket stub regardless of the game!
