Default Any central Illinois collectors?

I'm located in Springfield IL and was hoping to meet up with some local collectors to discuss the hobby. Maybe a once a month lunch or something. I collect pre ww1 particularly Cubs. Just seeing who else is nearby.

Hi. I am in Bloomington. I collect prewar and 50-60s cards. I am a Cubs fan too, but I collect HOF cards from most teams.

I was born in Bloomington. My paternal grandfather was president of ISU back in the 50's and my maternal grandparents lived in Goodfield/Congerville.
Best of luck with your "get togethers"!

I was born in Pekin, spent some time in Springfield as my Grandma lived there and worked for the Secretary of State in the 60s, lived in Bloomington for 9 months and went to college at University of Illinois in Urbana/ Champaign for veterinary school. Also owned a veterinary clinic in Macomb for 9 years before I moved to California and now to Florida. Guess I am as Central Illinois as you can get.

Originally from Peoria, but have resided in Springfield for about 15 years now. Cubs fan for little over 40 years now. Do you go to the monthly show at Rt 66? I know there's not much pre-war there.

Very cool to see there are a few. I'm going to try to set up a time and place later this week. I'll shoot everyone PMS with info and we can work out a good time.
