Default Wonder where it is today?

A relative sent me a recent reprint of the 1960 Pittsburgh Post Gazette commemerating the Pirates victory. Inside was the attached article regarding home plate. This guy lived about 4 streets over from me. Somehow I recall hearing about this. I doubt at age 9 that I was reading the paper, so I probably saw it on TV. Anyway, I went with a couple buddies and we knocked on this guy's door to ask for a look. I can can see him standing in his doorway, holding home plate, his butt propping open the storm door. I remember being surprised by it's rough condition, not smooth and white, but eaten up with hundreds of spike marks. It also had a number of spikes used to anchor it in the ground. Great memories!

I wonder where it is today?
