Default Just picked up my very 1st 1887 Old Judge baseball card...and the journey begins!!!

After doing recherche all day I came upon a great pitcher who still holds the record for all time lowest ERA (under 1)....Tim Keefe in action:

Ebay Item number: 200894525290

Congratulations! I've always wondered why Keefe is tagging a teammate, and why on earth he was covering second base.

Not a bad price, I considered buying that card a few times. Now that it's gone, I'm not sure how to feel.

Matthew:

It was this youtube video on 1887 Old Judge cards that made me look into Tim Keefe:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgnXD3W1770

Between 3 minute 30 seconds and 3 minutes 40 seconds the name Tim Keefe appears on the screen.

Great looking card. I think if I was an Old Judge collector, I wouldn't care a whole lot about the backs, if I could get a front that looks that nice.
