New purchases for April 2013 (I figured to start the topic)!!

Just picked up my 1st Sam Crawford card from the E90-1 Caramel set in SGC 50 (4). Love the look of the card and the eye appeal for the grade...probably paid 75$ to much for it...that is what happens when you are awake way to late!!!

Who else is in the same ballpark as Sam Crawford (like say Walter Johnson is in the same league as Christy Mathewson but Crawford is below these 2)?

Just trying to find some names I can research and learn about that are good players but not like Ty Cobb, Mathewson and so on and so on. Just a few names would be great.

Today isn't April 1st though, so put it in the March pickup thread. Or wait til it arrives which I am sure will not be on the 1st since it will have to get mailed out on the first at the earliest.
