Default Roberto Clemente PSA/DNA 8 Postcard

Hello everyone,

I just received my Roberto Clemente postcard back from PSA/DNA late last week, and i was happy with the results for what i feel is a strong Clemente autograph.

I'm new to the forum and wanted to share my latest piece and see what comments people may have.

Any thoughts of potential value?

Thank you,
Mike

Mike. Great photo. In terms of value, I would have guessed somewhere in the $1200-$1400 range. There was a very similar encapsulted postcard that just sold on eBay for $1300.

This Clemente piece sold for a bit over $2,000. Does it sell at a premium because the auto is graded an 8 or because it's on a 1958 Topps card and set collectors can raise the price?

IMO, it would bring significantly more bc, 1.) it is on a card, 2.) it is not personalized and 3.) it has no tape damage.

In any event both pieces are outstanding. The PC is very neat in that it appears to be addressed in his hand as well.
