I found this interesting and maybe (probably) it is why some "irregular" shaped sets are not as popular as other "regular" shaped cards. This statement in the Bulletin was in reference to size being an influencing factor in the popularity of postcards.. It pertains to our cards too, I believe...(and this coming from someone who loves oddball stuff)

Leon,

Good stuff here. He was an early form of Ebay when he reminds folks to send him their cards and he will list them for a 15% commission upon sale of the card. Pretty good practice as he controlled everything that was listed (and had first crack at it also!)

I love these older hobby pubs.
