Question 1971 Dell Team Stamp Albums

I've acquired a few 1971 Dell Team Stamp team albums. I am trying to figure out the best way to get the best value out of them in return.

Should I sell them as a lot?

Sell them individually?

Crack out the singles and send them to PSA hoping for 10s?

I am totally open to suggestions. I have all 12 AL teams. (I think there are only 12 AL teams total)

Thanks everyone!

Kind of depends on the centering and condition.

Of the cards (stamps)?

They are all preferrated and still in original condition inside the albums. None have been cracked out. I'd have to do that (or pay an expect to do so).

Default Not worth the time

If you look into the values of even graded 9's and 10's - add to that the possibility you will not get them and money you would have to invest in trying, I think you will conclude the odds are not worth it. There are actually 24 albums in a complete set and a separate all star book. I would likely list them individually on the bst forum or ebay - highlighting the condition and key players in each album.

Yes, to get a 9 or 10 on these, the cards would have to be pulled apart at the perforations. So you can judge the centering based on the perforations before you pull them apart.

You might get your money back on HOF'ers in PSA 10.... maybe.

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...&LH_Complete=1

Some 10's went for as little as $1.61 on commons.

Yea doesn't seem worth the hassle and cost. Might be best to just try and sell the albums in tact. Thanks for the research!

The individual books go for around $10-$25 per each. The All Star book may go for a little higher.
I have the complete boxed set and an extra book and extra stamps.

The individual stamps go for quite a bit more than the books. A slabbed Ryan or Clemente or Mays or Aaron can get up to $50 or more and the books they are in are much less.

Not sure it's worth breaking up. Even to risk for maybe a $40. A 9 wouldn't be worth much if anything at all.

Thanks for the update. I need to take some pics and get these things up for sale.

IMHO These items are more valued to team collectors. I have one for my team, but not too interested in many others.
