This is phony, I've sent messages to the seller, who says...

" I had no idea the card was a fake, as I do not know enough about the T206 set. I'm selling the card as a reprint. I will revise the suggestion, but obviously those who have the interest already know it's a reprint. What else would you have me do....write "It's a reprint, but please don't buy it because some guy called me a perpetrator." "

And I emailed the first and second bidders...

Maybe if more folks send messages to the seller.

My favorite part is ...He is afraid to send the card by mail to be graded because it might get lost - yet he is willing to sell the card for next to nothing because he doesn't know if it is real or not. He says something like, "my loss is your gain". These damn people should be in jail.

To take it a step further if he's afraid to mail it to get graded, wouldn't he be equally afraid to mail it to the winning bidder?

The guy doesn't know enough about the T206 set, yet he knows the REAL value of the Magie error card, the different back variations and overall rarity of it, exactly what the error is on the card he SUPPOSEDLY is selling, and has compared this card to his MANY other PSA and SGC GRADED T206 cards for printing differences.

All he needs to know is that the real MAGIE error exists ONLY with a PIEDMONT 150 back....Period, over and done with !

At least he's been responsible enough to now say that the card is indeed a reprint and not authentic. I do wish ebay had some "ignore seller" option so that you could avoid certain sellers who clearly don't know their stuff or are selling reprints.
