Looks like a 1887-1893 Baseball currency issue. Bob Lemke has these in the 2007 SCD catalog, page 39. Nice item!

Yes, it is Baseball currency from 1889. These things used to be and probally still are Bob Lemke's favorite. Here is a photo of the front or back of it. I still do not know which is which I wanted to contribute a new thread on something we have not done in awhile. Thought it would be more interesting than some of the other topics of late.... JC

Great thread on Theodore. Plus those are some pretty awsome cards that have been posted so far. I think it's hard to find a common card that ever came out of that area from pre-war.

This is one I've had a very long time...kinda ties into the rare issues thread and shows you if you look real close, a New Orleans birthplace. Extra poor condition, but still a unique card.
