Default Frank White 1990 Donruss "No Face"???

A fellow brought this card to me and SWEARS that he pulled it out of a pack. Magnification shows that it's actually possibly that it's a print defect (it's not 'erased'). Thoughts?

I think his last name and being pulled by a 10 year old kid have something to do with it.

It was actually an adult who brought it in. Swears that he pulled it out of a pack.

Sure looks to either have color removed or color added. Pretty sure it did not leave the factory that way.

Pulled from a pack recently? With that corner wear? Nah... I meant he was 10 when he pulled it, and is trying to remember 30 years ago.

It didn't come out of a pack that way. That's not a printing defect.

From a previous thread on the same topic.....here is a card that likely came from a pack and what it looks like now after it met my eraser.

Someone with time on their hands should "manufacture" a full set of the 1990 Donruss this way.

Or try for the pot of gold and erase a high grade 52 Mantle.
