Default 1/9/16 Card Show Report

I'm lucky to live close to Jacksonville where we still have a "brick and mortar" old school card shop. Plus they host a monthly card show which I attend whenever possible. It's a small show maybe twenty tables with of course mostly new shiny stuff. But there are usually a handful of dealers that have the older cards that I like, and it's not always the same dealers there.
Before I share my purchases, I want to tell you how the week started, and how I had some extra cash in my pocket.
A couple of years ago I purchased four "portable greenhouses" on sale at Lowes and used them to protect some tangerine trees on my property. I paid $125 each for the greenhouses, and they worked fine. But it's too much work for me to set these things up, watch the weather for freezing temperatures, adjust the doors and windows etc etc. So anyway I had a little talk with my trees, and told them they were on their own from now on And now I have four big boxes taking up room in my garage doing me no good.
So I placed an add on Craigslist, and sold all four of them to a couple who drove a long way to get them for $70 each.
When I drive to the card show, my first stop is normally the ATM, but I've got some cash in my pocket!
