Default How many products can you think of...

that the brand name has taken the place of what they make?

For instance, at a family dinner, do you ask to "pass the gelatin" or "pass the Jello"?

Another brand that dominates the market would be Kleenex. I know I can't ever remember asking for a tissue.

Now those two products have the lion's share of the market but there are some products that don't enjoy that luxury and still, when a waitress ask me what I would like to drink, I always answer "a Diet Coke please." Now Coke and Pepsi have been neck and neck for quite awhile now, but you wouldn't know it at the casino I work in. We've had an exclusive with Pepsi for a decade now and the overwhelming majority of my customers ask for a Coke or a Diet Coke.

There are more products out there than you would think, that fit the bill. Let's here what you come up with...
