Default Huggins and Scott Auction Ends Tonight

Any idea why the 1947 Bond Bread Jackie Robinson went for $2500? Nice card, but $2500 seems about 10x too high.

Despite what was suggested here outside of the portrait pose, I'm not aware of any scarcity differences amongst the other poses. My guess is that two whales are trying to complete that tough set and a war broke out.

Matt, at least per PSA, the pops are anywhere from 14 to 2 on the other poses; this is a pretty big strike zone when you consider the popularity of the set/player.

That particular Roby pose is needed by most who are completing the set. 2500 plus the juice is much less than it has sold for in the recent past.
