that you can now buy singles for less than lots on a per card basis when it comes to low grade cards? I used to buy small groups of cards because you could always get a price break per card. Lately though, small groups of cards (20-50 or so) are commanding higher per card prices than if you bought the cards one at a time. T206s are a perfect example. You can pick a single F-G t206 for $5-10, but put them in a small group and they will get a minimum of $10 per card. Same for Goudeys. I just watched a group of 50 1933 Goudeys close at $11 per card and you would be hard pressed to $6 or $7 out of most of them if you sold them individually.

The only thing I can hope to do now is find sellers that are listing a lot of low grade singles and get a break on shipping.

I've just reached Upper Lower Class. I am now officially a babe magnet for poor chicks.

It's been back and forth for me. I've been selling some pretty beat up T206 cards on ebay lately as singles and I'm getting some pretty unbelievable numbers.

To get over $20 each for these cards....

...struck me as a bit odd, given they both have back damage (either paper loss or writing). Don't get me wrong, I was happy to get the money. But I'm certain I got these cards as part of large lots over the past year or so, where the going rate was somewhere in the $5-$7.50/card range.

I will concede that it's been much harder to get G-VG condition T206 cards in a lot for under $10/card lately. But I don't see that translating into singles for under $10/card. Given the nice prices of the raw cards I've been selling, I have been turning to SGC 40's and 50's for value.
