Default Chumlee was a dummy 1961 Packers/Giants NFL title prgm

ON the ep of Pawn stars after the Joe Jackson one, Chum had a shot at a 1961 NFL title program GB vs Giants w Stub and said they were online for ten bucks, and offered the guy TEN BUCKS FOR IT..Guy was hoping for 1-200. Umm. Chum. FAIL. Id give the guy around a hundred.

Chumlee looks like one of the biggest idiots on the planet. I bet if someone didn't remind him to breath every minute or two he would forget to do it and suffocate. Seriously, only in America in the 21st century is that dude a celebrity.

Remember that Jerry Lewis was popular in the 20th century.

Lewis' comedy was pretty low-brow, but obviously the man was no dummy.

Jerry Lewis is a genius and should never even be mentioned in the same thread as Chumlee.

And don't forget the sisters Kardashian,,, certainly only in America could women with no talent, no skill, no discernible abilities whatsoever become rich celebrities.

They were rich before they became celebrities...and if they weren't attractive do you think anyone would even know their names? Popular culture in the US has been taking a nosedive for about 20 years now.

I think Chumlee just plays dumb for the show.

It what makes him stand out and 'loveable' so to speak among his fans.

He has the most fans among the pawn stars cast in my opinion, it's certainly not 'big hoss'.

Default 1961 Champ. Program on E-bay

Hi, just looked at the program on e-bay. Has 13 bids and is at $35.00 with 4 days to go. Not as nice as the one Chumlee offered $10.00 for. Oh well it's Chumlee after all.

That title game program has been selling in the $65-125 range for quite some time now. The Packers win last year spiked prices for a time.

There is also a fellow on eBay selling really nice reprints with NO reprint notice in them. He usually pairs them with a DVD of the game. In fairness, he does clearly state in his listing that the program is a reprint.

I watch (and enjoy) a lot of old movies, and I can testify that entertainment in the 1930s and 40s wasn't always 'higher' and more mature than today's. For example, the Bowery Boys-- which I like, by the way-- I think was intended for an audience of dim 12 year olds boys.

One can correctly argue that today's television and entertainment is raunchier and cruder, but I think it's incorrect that old days produced higher quality entertainment. If you watched some of the B movies I have, I think you'd agree. There was dubious crap in the old days too.

P.s., I'm not a Kim Kardashian fan either. That family and the whole genre makes me wince.

That program along with the game stub should EASILY sell for $200, maybe $300. Chum said he has seen that program online for $10. No, he hasn't.

Chumlee just reads the script that is in front of him. other people had ample time to determine how much it could be worth, and if they came up with 10 dollars on the internet, then the really pulled a boner because pawn stars sees those items well in advance and researches them. chumlee got bad info.

His success is either definitive proof that there is no God or a confirmation that he sold his soul to Satan. I'm good with either interpretation...

I wouldn't be too envious.

When the Pawn Stars gravy train pulls into the station, the phone will stop ringing, he'll be begging for parts on B celeb reality shows and spending long hours in an autograph booth at comic conventions. The possibility of financial woes, substance abuse and premature death looms large.
