Default O/T - How to spot counterfeit minor league Gwynns

I know this is a little off topic, but do any of you know how to spot counterfeit 1982 TCMA Tony Gwynns?

Thanks.

Default Don't recall

I don't recall that card being covered when we did the Sportscard Counterfeit Detector book in the mid-1990s.

If the fake was made in that era, it would likely display print dots in areas that should be solid, such as type, borders, etc.

If it's in a Gem grading holder, it's likely fake.

Sorry, but I haven't kept up on that realm.
