Huey Lewis defines everything that sucked about the 80's.

Metallica became just another shitty Pop-Metal band.

Patti Smith wasn't and will never be Punk.

Bob Dylan still sucks.

If you think Dylan sucks on vinyl, you should pay a few hundred bucks and see him live some day. Will stand with his back to the audience and sing incomprehensible through his nose for a few hours. People around you will tell you how great the last song was, but honestly you'll have no effin' clue what he's mumbling about.

Springsteen I'll never understand, YUCk!
Clapton, I can't say he's bad, I just don't like his music
Eagles, I like a lot of their music but Hotel California has got to be one of if not the most over rated album of all time.

Count me as another Duran Duran fan.

Completely respect your opinion but if you are of a certain age and grew up or lived in California in the 1960s and 1970s you might better understand the appeal of the album beyond just the tunes.

Taylor Swift and Beyonce.......I just don't get it......Radio could be so much better without either of those clowns on there.

I spent most of the 60s and 70s in Southern California, and the Eagles' "Hotel California" always sounded to me like smooth jazz for the soft rock crowd. It came out during my sophomore year in high school, and I heard it nonstop through my senior year. At the time, I was into the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, two other bands that are high on some other "hate 'em" lists.

I consider Credence Clearwater Revival, similar to The Eagles, to be the far better band. I can listen to their greatest hits album endlessly.

Not sure if this is “unpopular”, but I’ve mentioned it to friends and got limited reaction: “MAPS” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is probably the best rock song to hit the airwaves in the last 21 years. Since music sucked between the years 1990-2002, I’d say it’s the best rock song since 1990.
