Default Purple Rain error card??

So what's the deal with this card. It's a listing for a raw Reggie Jackson RC with sh*tty corners and horrible ink runs on the surface, yet its listed for more than a PSA 6? What am I missing?

Default The Artist formerly known as Reggie

I think it's more of a humorous listing. RIP Prince

Some recurring print defects are very collectible. This one is probably not. But people can try to get as much for their cards as possible. Seller is on this board if you want to contact him.

There are a few of us that collect weird print errors and pay a premium for them. That one does not appeal to me but it might someone else. Why collect those boring plain cards that all look same.

As John points out, folks pay quite a premium for some recurring but fairly minor print defects, like a 52 Campos black star, a 57 Bakep, a 61 Fairly with a small green smudge on the back. This one is a major star and a noticeable front defect, but likely not recurring, which is one of my few personal odd ball parameters.
