Default Calling all autograph experts - Babe Ruth

Does this ball or I should say his signature look traced? Looks awfully thick for a pen. Doesn't mentioned it being traced as some will do/should do.

The second "b" in Babe certainly does look shaky to me. So does the "R" in Ruth. Not sure I can tell whether it's traced though, but I can cleary see it being a distinct possibility.

It does look like it could be traced but does the signature even look legit? If I see GAI I run as fast as I can!

I don't like it. the R has a slightly odd look, as does the way the a flows in Babe. Id stay away. Hopefully Richard Simon will chime in w his opinion.

I only go about as far as the fake Mantle for $300.00. After that, there is no reason to look at their Ruth.

I don't think it was traced, i think it was probably a faded legit signature and then someone helped it along, darkened it as it was probably hard to see, not realizing it now becomes worthless.

This is one I would not make a call on from a digital picture. Need to have this one in hand.

Default agree

I would go with the faded signature that has been overprinted.

The cross bar to the (T) in Ruth at its end - just to the left of the (h) seems to show the original ink a a diffrent angle.

Also between the (u and t) shows the faded ink?

Possibly traced, can't tell by scan.

The thing that jumps out to me is the bottom part of the "R" loop. I think it doesn't curve the right way.

I don't think it could be a real and unaltered signature. Possibly real and then traced over or just all together a fake. Just my opinion
