Default PSA 7 T205 Lost in the mail, need help

Posted By: Damian

Sorry to have to share my misfortune but I recently sold a T205 Konetchy PSA 7 (cert. 12377599) on ebay and shipped it to the buyer. I sold another T205 PSA 7 on the same day and the buyer did not buy insurance. I got mixed up and did not buy insurance on the Konethcy even though the buyer optioned and payed for it. I know, I know! I am nuts for shipping such an item without insurance regardless of whether the buyer paid for it or not. I didn't even spend for delivery confirmation. I know, I know! Anyway, the buyer has yet to receive the card and its been almost a month since I shipped it. I refunded his money and he said he will resend the payment in the event he does eventually get the card. Buyer has good feedback, was patient, and very polite. I have every reason to believe him beyond a "trust no one" philosophy. Can you good folks please keep an eye out for this card in case someone jacked it at the PO or got it by mistake and kept it? If there is a thief and they are shrewd it may of course be raw or in a different holder. Any help is appreciated!

Don't forget to file a complaint with USPS regardless if you purchased delivery confirmation or insurance.

Two months ago I shipped a $400 coin set from MI to IN with signature confirmation but no insurance. After a month of no delivery, my local PO advised to file a formal compaint because sometimes packages get sent to a regional collection center when they get misplaced. The complaint would help to locate the package if it ended up at the regional collection center.

Sure enough a week or so after I filed the complaint, the package arrived undamaged. It only took 5-6 weeks. I hope I have the same luck with two other packages that have been missing now for over 6 weeks. Both of which have delivery confirmation but haven't been delivered yet.

Brian E.

I did fill out a lost package form at the PO. They were as helpful as could be. Always are at the PO I go to. Also I thought it may help to know from your post Brian that the package went from Wichita, KS to Seatle, WA. If anyone has sensitive info please feel free to e-mail me at damiananderson7@hotmail.com Thanks again.

You might want to register the card with PSA as part of a set -- if someone else seeks to register it you'll get an email telling you to take it off your registry... Don't know if this will help but it can't hurt...
