Default Bob Feller- HOF '62 taken to hospice

Just a quick note:
In the Cleveland Plain Dealer today it was reported that
"Baseball HOF'er Bob Feller has been transferred from The Cleveland Clinic to hospice, according to Bob DiBiasio, Cleveland Indians VP of public relations.

Feller, 92, has experianced a number of serious health problems after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in August. He has suffered recently from vertigo, in combination with his chemotherapy treatments. In October, he had a pacemaker installed.

Most recently he was admitted to the clinic with pneumonia. Feller was also diagnosed with thrush, an infection of the mucous membrane lining the mouth and throat......"

Keep "Rapid Robert" in all of your hopes and prayers.

Default irresponsible

It was mind boggling that they administered chemo at his age; his body is very fragile and i doubt the he last more than a couple of week at this point. Very sad. the first HOF'er i ever met at a card show back in 87' super nice, classy guy.
