Default T205 Piedmont Factory 42

Posted By: Don

Does anyone have any insight on the rarity/availability of factory 42 subjects in the T205 set?

Do all factory 42 subjects also come in factory 25 versions?

Thanks as always,

In my experience, T205 Piedmont 42's are
much easier to obtain compared to T206 Piedmont 42's.

I'm not sure in regards to the 42's also having Factory 25
designations. I'm sure J. Levine can weigh-in on that.

Hello Don (and Turner)...

No super simple answer here. Piedmont Fact. 42 are easier in T205s than in T206s. If you want percentages, it seems that about 2%-4% of all Piedmont T205s come with fact. 42. (2 to 4 out of every hundred T205 piedmonts is a fact. 42).

To date, I have cataloged 54 different Piedmont Fact. 42 backs. Of those 54, all are also found with Fact. 25 backs.

They are rare as T205 backs go...in my overall T205 population reports, I have Piedmont 42s as now falling between Hassan Fact. 30 and Cycle as the 8th toughest T205 back (9th if you count blank backs).

Hope this helps.

Joshua

Thanks Joshua, I figured you'd be able to shed light on it.
