I wouldn't say you overpaid for the n172 Galvin. I sold that exact card to the consignor for the same price (with VIG) that you are paying.

I won the lot of 9 complete british tobacco tennis sets. I decided to branch off the golf sets ( I purchased a huge lot of golf sets from Mastro last year) and try my luck with these. The price was affordable at just over $500

Thanks Matthew. I am lucky to have won the bidding. The same pin for the Los Angeles team is pictured in the Muchinsky pin book, but unfortunatly the price guide estimates $400. Maybe I overpaid for this example? ahh I dont care.

Joe, the price guides just don't hold up on a rarer item. You have to pick it up when you see it. I think you did OK. Do you know if any other PCL teams had a pin like this or are there just 2? Thanks, MJ
