Default Dontcha hate it when...

...you spot a great looking card you need for your set, you're all but set to toss your wallet at the seller, and then you flip it over to find a big ole fat gum stain!

Breaks my heart every time.

I'll take gum/wax stains.....but paper loss? No Way!

Don't you hate it when sellers on ebay won't post feedback when you pay, but rather wait until you give them positive feedback?

Default feedback

I am strictly a buyer on ebay. I always give feedback, but no longer care if I get it or not. I never check it anymore

I'm pretty forgiving of the reverse side...centering doesn't really matter to me, but gum stains I try to avoid, just because I think it can hurt resale value. I like to at least recoup what I paid, and a gumstain can be the difference between breaking even, and winding up 10 or 15 bucks in the red.

If that's the case you're paying too much for a card with a gum stain.

I saw a gorgeous 1955T Snider in a case back in 1980. Dealer wanted something like $10. The card was perfect. Oh-except when he took it out of the case for me, he did honestly point out the 3" crease on the front if you tilted the card. My heart sank. Then I bought it. And still have it in my complete set.No need to upgrade it.I just don't tilt it!

I have no issue with a gum stain. If that is how it came out of the pack, then that is how it was meant to be.
