Kind of a cool error. Can not remember seeing one like it. But not $555.55 cool, although that is a cool price too.

I know nothing about the card, but would assume it is a planned SP variation of some sort? I personally don't care for it. I think they have taken the SP, SSP & variation game too far. Sparkles, pies, photoshopping, inverted photos and colors, gum stains, etc. All very gimmicky.

There is very, very little I like about what Topps/MLB has done for cards for a long time. To each their own on stuff like this, I guess.

Although each year I continue my Topps run by buying the base set, any update set to it and the Topps Heritage set for that year (and any extension set to it ) in master form, post 1994 I no longer do all the Topps inserts and extras. Still , I think all that stuff is neat and creative....and in many cases very challenging.
