Default I'll bite

Mantle - 2
Clemente - 4.5
Aaron - 5

Little tough as can't see the corners on the Clemente or Aaron - AS previously mentioned I'm interested - let me know what you are looking for on them. Thanks.

Howard

Interested in the Roberto when you get them back- staining will knock the grades down - if there is staining on the blank back that also decreases the grade

That price is insane. It makes me wish I'd held my Mantle, which I believe was a 7 and was a pop 1 at the time.

Default Congratulations on the sale!

That was really strong money at Heritage and even stronger on yours! Perhaps more people are starting to wake up to the scarcity and difficulty of some of the more obscure items.

I agree; there's a market saturation point, when all collectors in the market place have all bid on the primary issues over many years.

I think the scarce items (Pittsburgh Exhibits, Stahl-Meyers, etc) will only go up as people recognize Topps is mainstream and common, with the only thing to differentiate uniqueness being condition / number grade. A '55 Clemente is not rare, nor really is a '52 Topps Mantle.

Whereas, the truly rare and unique items are scarce all by themselves, not "artificially scarce" by being designated an 8 or 9 as opposed to a 6 or 7. just my opinion
