I don't know much about Menko, however this is the uncut set of most of those and most references place it at 1960.

Ryan Laughton is the expert on Sumo menko, and Menko in general.
https://sumocards.blogspot.com/ He has an extensive book on the subject. Seriously, if you want to indentify the cards, get his book.

Apparently, the wrestler next to the baseball card is Ben Sharpe.
The three Sumo below those two are Naruyama, Kagamisato and Wakanohana Kanji
