Default Blank Back 1984 Reggie Jackson

Hello everyone,

Just discovered this card in my collection. It was part of a collection I purchased a few months ago. Anyone have any idea if this is just a printing error or if it is some kind of proof card? Also any idea how much this card might be worth? Any input would be appreciated. The scans are different sizes front and back because I resized them. Thanks.

Several blank backs on Ebay right now.

Not totally uncommon, a Reggie collector will eventually buy it, but you are not going to get rich.

Worth about $5 delivered on a good day. During the 80's-90's Topps printing errors like blank back/front and wrong backs are very common.

Topps' quality seemed to be abysmal during that time. Maybe because of the added competition of Donruss and Fleer forcing them to rush stuff out the door? Who knows.
I've got 5 or 6 blank back '83 Topps football cards I bought from a show dealer about 20 years ago. He claims he pulled them ALL out of a single cello pack. I don't find that hard to believe.

I have an '83 Nolan Ryan somewhere......I got a batch in 1991/1992 or so and had a few dozen out of a single wax box. Must have been from the same sheet.
