i agree with you...hard(impossible) to tell for sure from the pics. I'd ask for better front/bk scans.

The corners on the Griffith look good, but on the others they appear too round as you will see on reprints. Also, there is a major wear disparity between the Griffith and the rest of them.

ETA: The top half of the Chance (the rest is not visible) has the tell-tale super-round corner cut of a reprint.

Upper right card is good, others that I can see are reprints.

The size of the diecut corners is the easiest way to tell.
Authentic cards will have a rounded corner the same roundness as a playing card, the fakes the cards have a larger rounded corner.

Edited to say Matt beat me too it, I need to read the posts first sorry.

Thanks for all the great and informative responses.  I knew there was something tale-tell about these cards but couldn't remember what it was.. chalk that up to old age..

As others have said....it reminds me of the last National. A dealer had a very obvious fake in his case for $100-$200....I told him it was fake. He didn't believe me and asked how I knew. Well I told him about the addiction thing and that I have handled hundreds of real ones and many fakes. He still didn't believe me. I brought a real one back to his table to compare it to. He did....and still left it in his case as real.....Moral of the story. Just because someone is a card dealer doesn't mean they can't be wrong....

Leon.. yes, now I remember your story.

You'll probably only have to tell it a dozen more times before I REMEMBER!
