Default Anybody else think this is crazy? 1909-1911 t206 ty cob psa 7

I asked the seller if he could provide smaller scans as his current scans take up my whole screeen.....I don't think the sarcasm went over too well. The good news is instead of just accepting the best offer, he's accepting the best "offers" so maybe more than 1 person will get ripped off.

Man, those scans are huge!!! Glad I can see all the details of that card. Offer him $2.50 for it.

Brand new seller + zero feedback = scam artist. Or it's stolen!

That T206 Cobb card (I mean that particular one, with that PSA serial number) sold in the last REA auction for $17,625.

There is something fishy about this one. Already has a shill bid of 150(you would think they'd be smart enough to wait until 200)I think this post should be moved to the main page for obvious reasons.

edited to add: bidder at 150 rodgers7283 happens to be from Indiana, just like the seller hmmmmmm....

This one is a fraud. I made an offer for the card to the seller..he responded in three minutes...then when I insisted upon paying in cash in person...he disappeared.

I asked if I could pay in person as well and he has yet to respond, almost 48 hours.

It may be real but it sure looks funny (not funny as in ha-ha, but funny as in I don't like it).

I reported this to Ebay. We'll see if they do anything about it.

I am high bidder on it. I live close enough to cash and carry the card. If I win I will keep everyone abreast.

I just noticed that his feedback is 0...and his first ebay sale is a 20K card that is among the finest known. You do the math.

I just sent him an email stating:

"Do you really own this card? I am very interested, but need proof. Can you take a digital pic of the card and Time and Date stamp it. Also please add a piece of paper with your ebay user ID in the picture? Thank you in advance".

We'll see if he responds. My guess is.......crickets.
