Default Toughest Cards In The Hobby

Posted By: paulstratton

While we have some action over here I might as well put this out there. I'd be interested to hear some opinions on what you think the toughest cards in the golf card collecting hobby are. Not talking condition here, just rarity. My vote goes to the Crescent Confectionary Bobby Jones. I've never even seen one(though I do have a scan of one below), I know someone on the registry had a Hagen, but I don't think there has ever been a Jones graded(I could be wrong here). What do you think?

I don't really like the cards that don't actually depict real golfers. So I would vote for either the Crescent Bobby Jones, Kraj Zigaretten Bobby Jones or the FJ Smith Tom Morris.

Jason, great examples. I've never seen any of those. I hope someone can add a scan.

Here's a tough one.

the FJ smith Morris is brutal..Actually any Fj Smiths are...I have owned 4 different including a Morris and sold each of them for a LOT of money.

The Kraj Jones I have never seen....it is even tougher than the Abdulla, which is near impossible.

Any of the Ogden's Cricketeers golfers from I believe 1898 would be ultra rare in my opinion. I have only seen two of them ever offered anywhere.
