Default Greinke Effective For More Than 5 Innings?

When was the last time anyone saw Zack Greinke go 6 or 7+ innings without losing his edge? I wouldn't be surprised if he used to pull it off frequently in his earlier seasons, but how about over the past 2-3 years?

208 innings over 33 starts this year means he averaged 6.1 innings per start.

Default Yup ...

They pulled Greinke after a solid 5 innings last night, after allowing just 1 run in the 1st. Personally I think that was a smart move by Hinch. I mean, how many pitchers can go strong for 7+ into their mid/late 30's? Greinke, IMO, at 35 years old is still among the elite pitchers in the majors, as long as the coaches don't try to push him much past 5 innings per start. Anyone else think the Astros can get a solid 3 or 4 more years from Greinke if they play him right?
